Prof.
Matti Klinge speaks about the poet and his life's work in the
politically difficult conditions of the 19th Century. A film version of
Pan Tadeusz (director: Andrzej Wajda), which is the
greatest work of Mickiewicz and the national poem of Poland, will be
screened after the lecture.
